037a: Based on vessels in the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden, Leiden, the Netherlands and the British Museum. The Rijksmuseum vessel (possibly from Italy) is dark blue in colour and has six ribs. The colourless British Museum vessel (from Pozzuoli, Italy) has eight ribs. (1st century AD)

037b: Based upon several ‘marbled’ examples in the Rheinishes Landesmuseum, Trier, Germany. (1st century AD)
