The shape and style is based on plates from the early Imperial Roman period.

The carinated body is made from florets of a single pattern in dark blue, white and pale purple, and has a white and purple T+H monogram. On the upper surface there is a small, central raised dot surrounded by a raised circle.

The applied footring is white, streaked with blue and purple.

Both the inner and outer surfaces have been rotary polished and show fine concentric polishing marks.
