Post-medieval - Façon de Venise Goblets (FDV)

These vessels were blown at our wood-fired furnace. They all have some attack from the furnace atmosphere on their outer surfaces - some more so than others. It usually shows as a dulling and milkiness on the surface. See this page for a short discussion on this phenomenon. Please look at the large photos by clicking on the thumbnail photos, although the effect is not always noticeable on them.

We do not make Façon de Venise Goblets to order - these are individual vessels that are in stock and can be purchased as seen.
